Dean Williams Born in Oklahoma. The son of Native American Parents. Migrated to California with his family in the late 1930s where his folks in the fruit and vegitable harvests until such time his folks bought 4 ½ acres in Newbury Park California where the artist spent lots of his time in the mountains and canyons sketching and drawing the local wildlife.
Dean has studied art his whole life and has painted pictures. He likes to paint whimsical and abstract art which he calls “wall art” because it most directly relates to the pictographs painted by his Native American forefathers on the walls of caves.
He paints art that will bring a smile to people’s faces and conversation to the atmosphere. He welcomes questions like “where did he ever get an idea like that?”
Dean calls himself a “Monkey from a different tree”
Most of the pictures here are pictures the artist saved for himself for decorating his own house and studio over the years.
